It’s strange to think how things happen. A few years ago, I was walking from my house in Fareham to the train station. I was heading to meet my friends Tom and Ash at Havant Train Station for the Brentford vs Havant and Waterlooville FA Cup game – as a bees fan, I couldn’t not go when the team were playing so close!
On the platform I spy someone wearing pretty much exactly what I’m wearing, but in Havant colours (Hat, Scarf, Gloves, Shirt) and we got talking. There began a friendship – now that’s what makes sport, not just football, in general great.
So, fast forward to the present day and Nathan has written his debut novel: Fire and Ice – The Fall Begins. I haven’t read it myself just yet (sounds terrible, but I’m a one book at a time kind of guy – presently devouring Wicked by Gregory Maguire) but so far I’ve heard nothing but great things! The trailer for it is found down below and features a cameo from me – getting a kicking!
